Al Lawn began his path into the legal profession when he graduated from Yale University in 1981 with a Bachelors of Arts in History. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Temple University in 1985. For the first decade of his career Attorney Lawn worked at a private practice in the Philadelphia area. When the opportunity arose to become the General Counsel for Talk America (a telecommunications company) he embraced it. While he handled the legal matters for Talk America, he ambitiously took on a senior operational management role too. His responsibilities included the management, development and implementation of business initiatives. This included extensive involvement in the management of regulatory matters (FCC, FTC and state), insurance and human resource issues.
After Talk America was sold in 2006, Attorney Lawn created a consulting company, The Core Strength Group, LLC. Through this company he has been able to help businesses grow and be successful. The firm provides assessments of operations, management and financial reporting structures, expense moderation, accelerated growth, and significant valuation appreciation for businesses. Clients include a variety of industries including financial publications and analysis, regulatory compliance, telecommunications and steel service center and distributors.
Today Attorney Lawn has an office in Collegeville, Pennsylvania and is representing individuals, non-profits and businesses. His practice focuses on Business Law, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Estates and Trusts, and Nonprofit Organizations. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Boathouse Sports Ltd., Stonepath Group, Inc., Vesper Boat Club, Xinhua Sports and Entertainment Limited and Xinhua Holdings Limited. Most of all, he is dedicated to getting his clients the results they deserve.
